Facelift A plan for you.

A facelift addresses changes in facial tissues, especially in the mid and lower face. Assessment considers laxity, volume distribution, and the relationship between the face and neck.

Assessment comes first

Your anatomy is the starting point.

The assessment explores facial volume distribution, laxity, and changes in the mid and lower face. The technique and extent of the procedure are chosen according to your anatomy.

The consultation helps us understand your expectations and explain the options, risks, and follow-up. Results and recovery depend on each individual.

What to consider

Consultation includes photographs, medical history, lifestyle, and goals. You may bring someone you trust to help remember the information and ask questions.

  • Laxity along the jawline and beneath the chin.
  • Changes in cheek volume.
  • Folds around the nose and mouth.
  • Neck tissues and complementary procedures when indicated.
02

Your facelift

Incision placement and tissue treatment are selected according to your anatomy and the changes being considered. Access around the ears and hairline may be used to reposition tissues and remove excess skin.

In some cases, complementary procedures for facial volume or the neck are considered. The specific technique, including work in deeper planes when appropriate, is chosen during consultation; a technique's name does not replace that assessment.

03

Recovering at home

Arrange assistance after the procedure and follow your care instructions. Swelling and bruising may be part of recovery.

Time away from work depends on the extent of surgery and the physical demands of your activities. The surgeon determines follow-up appointments and the gradual return to exercise and other activities.

04

Long-term results

A facelift does not stop aging. Sun protection, recommended care, and avoiding significant weight fluctuations may help maintain the changes achieved.

Progress varies between individuals. Follow-up visits assess scars, symmetry, and recovery without promising a specific duration or an identical result for everyone.

This information supports your consultation and does not replace an individual assessment. Technique, risks, recovery, and results vary from person to person.
